RIDING NOTES / BUYING GUIDE

FOUR THINGS TO CHECK BEFORE YOU CHOOSE.

A practical electric dirt bike buying checklist: rider fit, permitted riding location, delivery and support. Use the Beshare Ridge specifications as a starting point.

Start with fit, location, delivery and support.

A price and a power figure are only part of choosing an electric dirt bike. Before buying, understand how the rider will handle the bike, where it will be used, how it will arrive and how to get help afterwards.

1. Match the dimensions to the rider

Compare seat height, bike weight and reach, together with experience. Ridge's supplier lists an 800mm seat height and 60kg bike weight. Those figures help start a discussion; they do not establish universal suitability for a particular age or height.

Use the rider-fit guide.

2. Confirm a permitted riding location

Off-road does not mean every open path or public trail is available. Check the location's rules and permission requirements. Do not treat a throttle-powered dirt bike as a conventional pedal-assist commuter bicycle.

3. Include the whole delivery arrangement

Ask about the packed size, weight, assembly state, destination access and transport charge. For collection, confirm the actual location and an appointment. A bike-only price and a delivered total are different things.

Review delivery and collection.

4. Know how to get the right support

Keep a clear model and order reference. Ask for the correct instructions and check how parts compatibility and availability are confirmed. A similar-looking vehicle is not proof that its battery, charger or other components are compatible.
